Our server closet is out of the way, and it is easy to forget to change the backup tape daily. It gives me real peace of mind to know that we are getting an encrypted off-site backup every night and a local backup at noon and midnight. The serious consequences of missing even one day of information are astronomical, and with TCS involved, I never have to worry about it.

One of our users had accidentally deleted email and calendar. It was nice to be able to call TCS and have them connect remotely, find the data, and restore it. No tapes to load or get back from the safe deposit box. My IT guy was going to have to reinstall our Exchange email server unless we could recover a file that had become corrupted on our email server. Because we have the backup and disaster recovery server in place, the process took about 15 minutes and saved us more than the $500 that a reinstall of Exchange would have cost, not accounting for the 3-5 hours that our mail server would have been down during the reinstall process.
